Two Motor Technicians were presented with a crystal decanter each in appreciation of their 25 years service at Holbrook Garage.
Chris Woolf and Steve Banyard both joined within one month of each other when the business was much smaller, just five people. Since then Holbrook Garage has grown and moved into a much larger well equipped workshop on the same site.
Chris and Steve started when cars were all about mechanical repairs, MOT and servicing; it now involves much more; electronics, diagnostics, locating and repairing problems. The mechanical parts have evolved to be much more reliable. The work that Steve and Chris have done over the last 25 years has helped the business to build a good reputation locally, embrace new technologies and grow.
Holbrook Garage has service and diagnostic equipment at the same level as main dealers for many makes and models, ensuring a high level of competence. This, combined with a friendly local business approach has proved to be a successful recipe. The workshop has now grown to 12 employees and the business as a whole has developed into the Greenshop Group employing nearly 60 staff. The garage workshop, which is fronted by the Murco petrol station and the Greenshop, is located just north of Bisley on the road to Birdlip. Both Steve and Chris are looking forward to the next 25 years of interesting work at Holbrook!
